Our company commenced trading throughout Ireland in 2001 and quickly established itself as a major leading supplier of bespoke components for the commercial vehicle industry. In 2012, SM Components Ltd was founded when the previous owners decided to relocate back to UK.

In 2015 and after several years of sustained growth, appointments as distributors for premium global brands including Gardner Denver, Bezares, Hyva, Emmegi and MP Filtri, further investment was made in machinery, highly skilled staff and stock holding.

April 2023 seen the establishment of a Company called CVC UK Ltd based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk who in turn approached and appointed SM Components as their sole partner and certified Assembly plant in Ireland. This new collaboration further widened our product portfolio, with additional access to CVC’s Type Approval Certifications to satisfy current statutory legislations.

Mid 2025 saw the successful completion of a management buyout. The company was under new ownership with a strengthened focus in offering customers countrywide innovative affordable solutions within the Transport, Industrial, Agricultural and Marine industries.
